Somebody did a remake of Soul Man on Soul Train episide with James Brown (singing Payback, Papa Dont Take No Mess, Hell, Try Me) on Centric channel; however there was a man singing Soul Man ..a nice slow jam version of it..he had a very nice falcetto too. I wish I could find it! I know the beginning you can hear some random girls saying, "oooh look at him ...ain't he fine!?"

He has on a white outfit and a black hat..he's pretty tall too.

I was just watching that yesterday! I DVR'd it but deleted it after I watched it. Damn! I wish I could help you! I DVR soul train and they show a lot of repeats so I'll let you know if you don't find out before then.

I think my dad wore something similar too but without the long hair lol his hair was as short as it is now, it never changed from when he was real young lol
