There was no yacht or over-the-top festivities – just family and close friends as Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz tied the knot in a private ceremony Saturday in a private home on the Mediterranean Sea.

The bride wore a Grecian-inspired Vera Wang dress and carried a bouquet of purple calla lilies. The groom was decked out in a Tom Ford tuxedo. The couple's friend Dr. Deepak Chopra presided over the nuptials.

The couple, who are also expecting their first child together, have been together since fall 2008. They announced their engagement and baby news in May.

It's the first marriage for Keys, 29, and the couple's first child together: Beatz (real name: Kasseem Dean, 31) has two sons, Kasseem Jr., 3, and son Prince Nasir, 9, from previous relationships.

While the newlyweds don't know the gender of their baby, Beatz says the addition of another child will be nothing short of magical.

"Whatever we're blessed with, that baby is being born to blessed parents," he recently said. "Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. She's super ready. Super glowing. Super happy."

I'm shocked that Deepak Chopra agreed to participate in this mess. This certainly isn't a holy union. How much did they have to pay him to go through with it?

Did anyone else notice how they didn't mention that Swizz has been married before?

I know Tucan Sam didn't fix his mouth to talk about blessings from God. Then again, if he can get Acheata to marry him so she can financially support him, I guess I can believe in miracles.

Here's the million dollar question that's been going around cyberland: Does anyone think the guests threw fruit loops instead of rice?

No matter what Alicia does, she can't convince me that she's NOT using this fool as a beard and a sperm donor. She's going over the top to prove that this is real love. Yeah right.

Somehow I'm thinking "here goes her career"..... Why do women who date men who are already married think that when they marry them it's going to be different? What goes around comes around. Just because you are a celeb doesn't make it any different. I'm not trying to judge but damn that karma is a real bitch. That's all.

In my own personal opinion, Alicia has no vested interest in whether this marriage lasts or not. She's only interested in attempting to convince people she's not a lesbian.

CORRECTION: It takes 2 people to commit an act of adultery. Alicia also did her part in ruining Swizz's first marriage.

Sometimes, that doesn't mean jack shit neither. James Cleveland was once married to a woman and even had a daughter out of that marriage. It's still didn't take away the fact that he was very gay and could get easy assets to other men on a down low.

I don't know for sure if Alicia is gay OR bi. But if so and if she thinks that being marry to Swizz Beatz is going to be enough to hide her true sexuality, it could backfired at some point in the future. Today's information technology is too advanced for most celebrities to do their dirt on the down low and think they can get away with it for very long.

We've all heard talk about how Alicia is supposedly gay, yet not a single person has been able to substantiate the rumor. This causes me to wonder how much is fact and how much is folks indulging in gossip.

Uuugh. Now I was just reminded why I rarely visit this forum.

I don't care what she's trying or not trying to prove. I just have a feeling that marrying that buster is going to be something she is going to come to regret greatly. I hope and pray for her sake that I am wrong but time will tell and I don't think it's gonna take that long.
