The song is Aston Martin by Rick Ross featuring Drake and Chrisette Michelle. I was listening to my xm radio and I heard this jam the other day. But when I went to I tunes and downloaded it... I was really disappointed. It was a piece of shit. i hate Rick Ross to begin with BUT Chrisette sings a smooth hook on the song... And DRAKE has a smoking Rap on the track. I didn't know that the original song I heard was the EXTENDED VERSION. The extended version I think it is about 7:11 minutes. on the extended version about half of the song is DRAKE and Chrisette. On the ITunes version it's mostly Rick Ross and All of the Drake Rhymes are Cut Short (Really Annoying)!!

Any way.. to make a long story short... Does anybody know where I can Buy the EXtended version of this jam called Aston Martin by Rick Ross?

That's kind of harsh. How would you measure success? In this music climate for any new artist to break and stay relevant is an accomplishment. I share your dissapointment in the hip hop though. Rap use to be a "movement" but it certainly is not going anywhere these days. I'm not old school but I know creativity and honesty in lyrics when I hear it. There is nothing honest or creative about these acts today. Case in point..I was listening to B.I.G the other day Notorius Thugs..that verse BIG kicked is with out a doubt one of the greatest 18 bars ever written in rap. Beneath the bravado and gun talk is a creativity and honesty that just about anyone can relate to..and it's still just as fressh today as it was then. Musicians use to strive for creating art that at it's best was timeless..now it's just about being with the times.

Most rappers are trying to pretend to be somebody there not. So 50 cent get more credit because he was shot 9 times and he has had 2 decent songs??? Jayz is a great rapper but alot of his songs suck!!! Biggie Smalls had 2 CDS ( the first one good, the second had 1 jam) yet he is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time (Bullshit!) Biggie wasn't all that. Look at LL Cool J's career he has had multiple hits over the years. But his critics says he is too soft because he has alot of female fans. Does every rap song have to be hard??

I don't think Drake is the best rapper. I have only liked a few songs. But this one in my opinion is a jam. That's all I'm saying. Drake is far from being the greatest of all time. But give him credit for his skills. Plus he is young. Rakim is one of the greatest MC's of all time. I listen to his classics every now and then. But I need something new instead of listening the same stuff for the past 20 years. I hate most modern rap. There is no way to compare the two genres. 99% of modern rap is worthless. So for the most part I do agree with Blaqueknight.

Not really. Its pretty true. Jay-Z is a hot lyricist but most of his songs sound like running commercials for various products. Biggie was a great rapper with VERY limited subjet matter. IMO, he wasted his gift rhyming about bullshit.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Drake but most of his popularity stems from women who want to f*ck him. He's a pretty boy with a cople of popular songs under his belt. Popular does not equal skilled.

Drake is mostly hype. The pop crowd tries to pass him off as a conscious rapper but that's a load. Go and listen to Talieb, Immortal Technique, and Mos Def and then throw on a Drake CD and you'll feel like you're wasting your time.

Yeah..yeah....yeah, but you have to give it up for the true greats in hip hop. You never hear R&B fans arguing over wether or not Marvin Gaye or the Isleys are deserving of their lofty reputation in their genre. The same is true for certain hip hop acts. Jay has done things no rapper before or after will do and BIG brought maintstream hip hop back to New York and a new culture still duplicated in music today. Respect.
