David Bowie Denies Collaboration With Lady Gaga David Bowie Collaboration Rumors are False According to Music LegendAugust 17, 2010 03:08 PM EDT (Updated: August 17, 2010 06:40 PM EDT)
The rumor of a musical collaboration between rock music legend David Bowie and Lady Gaga is just that, a rumor.
Last week several rumors emerged that the two would collaborating on a new track called "Vinyl" which could appear on Lady Gaga's next album. The pop singer has been in the studio working on new music, and has even said she may have enough good music for two CDs.
The rumor first surfaced in a forged document that listed song titles, both artists, and music producers.
The rumor of a Bowie-GaGa collaboration was shot down on Bowie's website by his news editor. "When this tall story first surfaced a few days ago it was denied as a hoax in an update to the same article."
The rumor that David Bowie has been working with Lady Gaga seems to have taken off...however, in a nutshell, the suggestion that David Bowie is producing and participating in the production of Lady Gaga's next album is untrue and a hoax."
Would it have been interesting to see the two artists collaborate? Absolutely! Unfortunately there seems to only be enough space in the room for one ego.
Gaga is very excited about her new album(s) saying that it is the "absolute greatest work I've ever done." When asked who was actually producing the album, the pop star turned selfish, "I will never tell because as soon as I tell, everybody starts working with them." It sounds like she wants to keep all the credit for herself.
