I can't believe no one has mentioned Michelle from Destiny's Child.

I mean, yes, she was pretty and her voice was good but I don't think it went nicely with Beyonce and Kelly's voices.

Beyonce has the strong smooth voice, Kelly's voice is warm and silky and Michelle's voice is just plain raspy. As much as I love raspy voices, it just did not flow nicely with the other 2.

I wouldn't have thought of Michelle. Maybe one of the other 3 girls who were in that space next to Beyonce and Kelly prior to her arrival. I guess they truly were useless if they didn't need to be in the group.

R. Kelly and Public Announcement - I never understood the point of the other guys. R. Kelly wrote and produced just about every song on their debut. He did all the vocals too LMAO.

Destiny's Child - Michelle Williams. Her voice is really annoying and raspy.

I can only think of Marlon, he couldn't sing much, his dancing was shocking, and he couldn't play an instrument. He was merely a slightly older looking version of Michael. Jackie was the man who provided the mature vocals (He's next most useless). Jermaine played Bass, so keep him, Randy handled the percusiion when he joined and took over as the cute kid. Tito was essential at least as he played guitar, and Michael the most talented was an amazing singer and dancer. So I will choose Marlon and let the others stay.

Pras co-produced a LOT of the Fugees stuff, so y'all need to chill on that.

Every member of that group pulled their weight, it's insulting as hell for anyone to insinuate that it was all about Lauryn. She's incredible, yes. They all are.

Randy also performed keyboards on live-shows and added some punch to The Jackson's sound by co-writing on a track like "Shake Your Body..." Other tracks he co-wrote are "All Night Dancin'", "Give It Up", "That's What You Get (For Being Polite)", "Time Waits For No One", "Walk Right Now". All the brothers produced & wrote. Executive producer Bob Colomby expressed how impressed he was when the brothers were taking production-control during the recording-sessions of their Destiny-album. So yeah, none of them were unnecessary.

LOL yup that's why she always got stuck singing the middle eights! Her voice had no harmony with the other two.

N*Sync - all of them except JT and JC. JC needed JT's creative streak though, and their voices went really well together which is why I think he hasn't found solo success (aside from the fact that he chooses lame songs/collaborations). He should've at least reigned JT in for a duet rather than trying to put forward that stupid All Day Long I Dream About Sex crap.

Here's my issue with the whole DC thing. Why did Matthew put together this group if his daughter was meant to be the star. I mean, would it have been cheaper to develop and put B out there as a solo artist from the start? If would have also saved his daughter a lot of grief that would come from the endless speculations and punchlines that she's the focal point. Obviously, the girl is attractive, has good writers, and hollering ability...look at her now. I think that the other girls, regardless of talent-level, were only there to serve as back-up to B.
