Goo Goo Dolls VS Sheryl Crow LIVE?

I'd love to see both concerts but I'm thinking I'll only be able to make one.

Who should I see in concert? Goo Goo Dolls with Switchfoot (opening) or

Sheryl Crow with Colbie Caillat (opening)

Offhand, I'm leaning towards seeing the Goo Goo Dolls, because

I love a lot of their radio hits, especially "Big Machine" and Switchfoot

seem a lot more up my alley to listen to then Colbie Caillat. (She is hot

to look at but her music is ill)

That being said, I've always wanted to experience Sheryl Crow live.

Any orgers seen her live? How is she? I also know that, this might

be a good chance to hear her sing "I Want You Back" since it was

included as a tribute to MJ on her recent album. (Which would be

really awesome to hear her sing that live.) And damn...Sheryl Crow

always looks hot. Just sayin.

So this thread this begs the question, which artist should I see live?

Goo Goo Dolls

or

Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crowe by a mile! I've seen her live and she's great. She plays multiple instruments, her voice sounds studio quality and her bands are always great. She usually plays a lot of her hits, but often works up new arrangements of the older ones. Pretty safe bet that you'd hear the MJ song, too, since most reviews of the new album have given that track high praise.

As an aside, I don't hate Goo Goo Dolls. But I don't really love them, either. So in order to give you a fair and balanced opinion here, you should know there would never have been a decision to make for me. Sheryl, all the way. nod lol

That's funny because we saw Colbie Caillat open for the Goo Goo Dolls a few years ago, like the very day she got famous. Her show was okay and she is cute.

The Goo Goo Dolls were excellent though! So many hits, lots of guitars and energy, and the sing-a-long factor was fun.

Why did you see either of them? I can't understand why anyone would be into either of those 2. I would definitely pick Goo Goo Dolls over Sheryl Crow if I were forced and had a gun to my head to make a decision though.

I want to see someone/some band live while I wait for Lenny.

He better damn well tour near me next time out. I've been waiting

since 2005 to see him live. 5 damn years.

I've seen them both recently. I would suggest going to the Goo Goo Dolls. They are just more fun in concert. Sheryl Crow is good too, but the Goos just have more fun material. I will say that if you go to the Goo Goo Dolls, do not expect anything pre-A Boy Named Goo.
