Which of these soundtracks from the 90's was the best?

I think Boomerang won hands down. I was probably the

only oddball that dug Mo Money better.

I just enjoyed more of the uptempo stuff that was on Mo Money

better than what was on Boomerang.

Well, I can't decide! Both were great, just like the movies.

I remember the summer of '92 when these two soundtracks were released.The media was treating it like a big competition between two powerful production duos: Jam and Lewis (Mo Money) vs. LA and Babyface (Boomerang).If you ask me to choose,I'll pick Boomerang.

BOOMERANG of course! It's one of those rare movies you can watch over and over and crack up laughing.

I call it a draw 'cause not only did I see both those flicks at the theaters I still play the soundtracks 2 this day. lol I gotta go wit Mo 'Money because of these songs

Boomerang?! ,Boomerang?! Are you people serious?!? Outside of the Toni Braxton break through song and the duet w/Babyface, the Boyz II Men tune...what else is there? That's 3 strong tunes! The Johnny Gill song on Mo'$ was better than his tune on "Boomerang", the Mo' $ allstars kills the "Laface Cartel " track. The Luther and Janet tune. The Ralph Tresvant tune. The Krush tune. The Mint tune. The MC Lyte tune. the Lo-Key? /BDK tune.... I'll give Boomerang the better movie vote all day. But "Boomerang" a better soundtrack...hell 2 da naw! It's not even a draw. the versatility alone of Mo'Money kills that option!

I'm with you. I was never that big a fan of Babyface so I didn't even buy the Boomerang soundtrack. I did listen to Mo' Money pretty regularly back in the day though. The 12" remixes of Krush's "Let's Get Together (So Groovy Now)" are killer.

Yes and no. The album version of "The Best Things In Life Are Free" is the new jack version while the single remixes were house versions by David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and CJ Mackintosh.

For those who prefer the orginal version, I suggest U mute the sound and play it in the remix's place

My family use 2 bug the hell out of me about having a faux crush on Grace (she's waay 2 freaky)

I liked them both at the time, but find neither has aged well for me.

Love Jones and Waiting to Exhale are still pretty good though.

Those songs are good. Also I Adore You by Caron Wheeler and A Job Ain't Nuthin

But Work by Big Daddy Kane w LoKey. The Johnny Gill track on this one is good too.

I used to play this on casette all the time!

Both............. "My Dear" trumps them all.

Mo Money. The artists on the soundtrack had some of their best cuts on there.

interestingly,LA and Babyface had nothing to do with two of the best tunes on the 'Boomerang' soundtrack:
