Gilmour to join Waters for one song on Wall Tour

Just read the awesome news that Gilmour and Waters are on good terms again (sorry if this is old news on here). Apparently they played a charity gig together on 11th July and it was all smiles! biggrin

Waters has also said that Gilmour will be joining him to play "Comfortably Numb" for one night only!! I have to get tickets to this gig!! But what night is it going to be?!!!!!! confused

They aren't going to announce which night it is. Gilmour wanted Waters to play one song at the charity gig with him, but he wouldn't. He sent him another message saying if he did it that he'd play CN with him at one stop on The Wall tour, so Waters said OK. Turns out they played four songs at the charity gig and I'm REALLY hoping that all this "being in touch" between them leads to Gimlour doing more than one song at one unannounced show on the tour. Evidently they really haven't had any problems with each other since the HOF induction performance. The issue was Gilmour being heartbroken after Nick Mason died. Saying he couldn't imagine Pink Floyd without him. Hopefully time has healed that would enough for him to at least get out and play some with Waters, who doesn't actually call himself PF anyway.

Here's hoping Gilmour does do more than one song, and more than one night on the tour to! Oh, and it was Rick Wright that passed away...Nick is still with us.

This news is HUGE. I was going to get tix for this show but resisted, because The Wall isn't The Wall without Gilmour's voice and guitar. Now I just may have to hit Stubhub.
