Cosmic Slop - Live - 1973

This is why I swear on everything that I hold dear, that I will FIGHT to the bitter end for Youtube!

I would have never witnessed THAT, through MY own eyes, if there were no Youtube and people that understand it's EDUCATIONAL purpose and significance!!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I agree, youtube can be educational. It has helped me hear/view music i would never have heard on the radio or tv for example.

And as for Cosmic Slop, what can i say, a monster track, by a monster band. just listening to the Maggot Brain album as i type this.

You make a very significant point! nod

Actually, I'm a Funkateer from way back, and I've never seen this clip before. AND... I've hung out in the section of New York's Central Park where this was shot many, many times! In fact, even saw them perform in the mid-90's just several yards from where this video was made... I believe it was on the 4th of July (They even landed the Mothership right there in Central Park!).

I agree that YouTube has allowed me to catch up on many things that I would have otherwise missed, and has prompted me to purchase products that I would have otherwise never known were out there. Thanks for posting this clip.

The video is available within the “Toys” Cod. Youtube is great for looking but people need to go out and buy.

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't know. I remember when "Toys" was released a couple of years ago, I read something in a review that made me change my mind about purchasing it. That's what I get for going by reviews. "Toys" is definitely back on my wish list.

It is all outtakes and alternative versions of previously released songs but the guitar stuff is decent and the video is a nice extra.
