We regret to inform you that, after much deliberation, we have decided to cease operation of the Soulmusicstore at this time. While we certainly appreciate our loyal customers, there has not been enough demand in the marketplace to maintain a profitable venture. The struggling worldwide economy has definitely played a part in this scenario, as well as the inconsistent release schedule of reissued R&B music.

We will continue to operate Soulmusic.com and have plans to make it a more dynamic home for classic soul music. Our team is making plans to develop our community with events that will be announced in the future. We are also making progress on Soulmusic.com’s reissue label, taking matters into our own hands by securing licenses for great music that is lingering in record company vaults.
We will continue to update you regularly and will still post new releases and titles of interest on Soulmusic.com. Soulmusic.com is an Amazon affiliate and your orders will be fulfilled by them.

We will continue operating until Friday July 30, 2010 liquidating the inventory on hand. We will only be taking orders from the Inventory Clearance until then.

Finally, we thank you for many years of enthusiastic support. We have established fantastic relationships with you that we hope will continue, as we move forward to focus on making Soulmusic.com the most that it can be.

Soulmusicstore has been a labor of love for us that we hate to release, but we must face the hard facts of the market and the industry.
