My favorite rappers usually got a lot of humor or clever comments too, which I find entertaining. That's why I rate Biggie higher than other people. or Grand Puba (Brand Nubian, Masters Of Ceremony).
Sometimes these other rappers laugh dumb at the ends of their own lines when they're not really saying anything funny or unexpected.
I like Grand Puba. He's cool. |

you and I know damn well that "Silkk The Shocker" and "greatest rapper" don't belong in the same sentence unless it has "will never be" between them
Milkk the Shocker
That muthafucka is one of the worst rappers to ever come out. But hey, different strokes for different folks.
Hey Mobb Deep was good until 2004/2005.

Esham isn't the only one to rap about the devil. I'm not saying he is bad but there are others who do it better than him. I suggest you check out Three 6 Mafia in their early years or Brotha Lynch Hung (if you haven't).
That's cool that you say Esham though. I'm a big fan of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. and all them, but people always call rappers like that the greatest. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it but it's such a traditional answer. But it's not everyday you hear somebody ESHAM the greatest. |

For real. I know it's their opinion and all but damn, it's such a typical answer and it usually comes from people who have little to no knowledge/interest in hip hop. I like Biggie, but he isn't that great and 2pac, at best from me, is okay, I never found him to be that great but I do like some of his songs. |

If I had to pick one, based on lyrical content, body of work, and impact on the game, in a nutshell I would say RAKIM. Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever! |

Are you referring to Missy's Square Biz soundalike rap on Ciara's "1, 2 Step"? |

It's an extreme exageration to call her a rapper. Don't laugh at my funk

Welll, her little rap in that song was a whole lot more funky than that "talking over a slow beat" shit that those thugged out little Romper Roomers have been doing. Andy is a four letter word. |
