This would be fun if people would post a youtube as one example why they chose whoever.

No one song would do it, no one song could be the primary reason, but if you post a really good Lil Wayne freestyle and say "listen to him freestyle" then it might support your answer better.

Likewise for 2pac, we all know he had abs, post his rhymes. smile

Common ain't that special. He may be your favorite if you agree with his points of view.

I'd put Lord Finesse above him in a second.

My favorite rappers usually got a lot of humor or clever comments too, which I find entertaining. That's why I rate Biggie higher than other people. or Grand Puba (Brand Nubian, Masters Of Ceremony).

Sometimes these other rappers laugh dumb at the ends of their own lines when they're not really saying anything funny or unexpected.

I would also like to say that De La Soul was more inventive or off the wall than Andre 3000.

And Kool Keith probably has all of them beat lol

What i liked about Kool Moe Dee was that he would challenge you

to a face to face battle on the mike where as other rappers would

just talk shit.

I was about to say the same EXACT thing!

Aside from his storytelling. I think there're many people who came up with stuff couple of years ago that seem to STILL outdate his stuff from 1986.

The man is a natural. It just goes to show you that fluff drops, substance lasts.

YES YES YES Ga head Cinnie.

I'd also add Grandmaster Caz.

Jay-Z, Eminem, Rakim, Nas, and Tupac are all great as well.

Biggie is overrated and so is LL.

you and I know damn well that "Silkk The Shocker" and "greatest rapper" don't belong in the same sentence unless it has "will never be" between them lol

What do you mean by that? Considering I am the only one who mentioned them, I kinda figure this is some what directed to me. That being said, what does "but puh-leeze" mean? There's nothing wrong. They may not be the best lyricists, but in pretty much all other categories, they have most of the artists named so far beat. Tupac, Nas, Ice-T, Rakim ect. I realize how ignorant this sounds, but it's my opinion. Krayzie Bone is the greatest rapper alive in the eyes of a lot of people.

And since you asked for Youtube links to support our opinion. I didn't want to go all out posting videos, so I just picked 5.

Krayzie's verse is 2nd starting at about 1:30

Again, 2nd verse, starting at :55. And for some reason, the song plays twice in the video.

1st verse

Also, Krayzie Bone is the real guy who is the best at doing a chorus. T-Pain is on a lot of them. I don't like him that much though. Nate Dogg is another, but him on the other hand, I love Nate Dogg. But still, nobody can do it better than Krayzie. Some songs I listen to just because of him on the chorus. smile

I kind of agree, his early stuff was hard to beat, (Woo ha Got y'all in check), was flawless, hyperkinetic rhymes (He must have been on crack or some shit), and an amazing whole fisheye lens thing with the video. I remmeber that jam from my youth, and it still sounds fresh now, its rap that can make you laugh too. He was a great rapper, but playa was crazy.

So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
