Eww she looks awful with blonde hair. She was much cuter with the natural black color.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

In "Purple Rain", when Prince walks into First Avenue and Brown Mark, Bobby Z, and Matt Fink are rehearsing some jam, right before Prince asks where Lisa and Wendy was at and then stomps his instrument. Whatever jam that was they were rehearsing, it needed to be released because it was funky as hell! I kept hoping it would turn up on one of the B Sides during that era.

They were rehearsing what turned out to be "Computer Blue" I think.

I've thought this from the first moment I heard it, and it was reinforced the first time I saw "Purple Rain"....

PRINCE - COMPUTER BLUE, the middle section

The first time I heard the Kid's Dad (Clarence Williams III) play that piano solo in the basement in "Purple Rain" I thought why-oh-why didn't Prince just turn that into a song in itself....its so melancholy and sad and beautiful all at the same time...just amazing!

Yeah, the movie arc was . . .

The rehearsal of the main groove

Kid confronts his Dad about beating his Mom, and walks in on Dad playing the song

Kid synthesizes both into Computer Blue.

Co-sign with the T/S. The Weatherman intro sounds so soothing.

Besides that, couple things came to mind soon as I saw the thread title.

You Are My Joy (Interlude)-Faith Evans

I Think It's Better (Interlude)-Jill Scott

-both of these are some of the most beautiful interludes ever.

I've heard a little of it in an extremely long bootleg unreleased version of "Computer Blue" but it's so muffled and sounds like it's kinda in the background that you don't really notice it unless you are looking for it. That section just ain't long enough though, even in the song. Those funky ass synths and drums in that section deserve a song of their own. lol

Prince - ORGASM

The man had the opportunity of a lifetime: to write the first serious porn song of all time; he could have extended it to more than 7 minutes of a wild mix of music and sex, with the female's pleasure screams, the hard-odd guitar sounds representing the pennis, delicate and liquid synths reflecting the female's juice falling all over her thighs, a tense but playful horn section, etc.

...

but as it stands, is just a funny-silly 1:41 erotic final interlude ...in the vein of West Coast rap, Dr.Dre or early Eminem...
