Their debut was dope as fuck. Their sophomore was crap. Mainly because the lead singer went solo. But I was bumpin' their 1st CD yesterday and that shit is a strong debut.

Yeah I dug their 1st CD too. Blended right in with what was going on w/ R&B in 96/97..but the CD also had a nice Curtis/Marvin 1972 vibe too.

I read Jigga really messed them up and didn't promote them the right way.

Their remake of "I Wanna Get Next To You" was tight.

I saw them live in Detroit back in 1997 at a free music festival. I remember it well, they rocked it.

Yes it was! I have the cd single and the first album.

Didn't know they had a second one.

Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

Me either!

I copped the Streets Is Watching DVD and the nasty stripper scene had their song in it. The one based on "Paul Revere" drums.

That song and "Soon" were my cuts man...

• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

nod They WERE hot that summer. I saw them at the Black Music Month Festival that Vibe used to sponsor at DisneyWorld every year. Ya'll remember that? That shit was off the chain. Sure hate they stopped doing it. That year I saw Mint Condition, OutKast (the year Elevators came out), Bad Boy Family, RunDMC, and a whole mess of other artists all for $20 at Pleasure Island. Good times touched
