I won't have a heart attack over this song but i wish they would have went with their gut

feeling at first and not remake this song. I wish they would have just released

the song their doing with George Clinton or the one with Chuck Brown as the

first single.

I find it hard 2 believe that they would truly feel that modernizing their sound would prove 2b successful. (and I say 'modern' in a general sense, this sounds like a lame attempt capturing the current pop sound)

Return of the mack is such an odd choice of a song to cover+use as a lead single, I was a kid in the mid 90s and heard that song on the radio a whole lot so it holds a certain sentimental value to me and it would be hard to get behind a remake unless they straight up funked it out.

I cant say I was expecting a proper return to form but it disappoints me when I see Prince bringing some old school flavor while everyone else is trying to fit in with todays music.

The lyrics and vocal line are indeed different, but the bassline and keyboard-chords are quite similar to "Games".

You should mix them back to back, then you hear how similar they sound.

The bassline and keys are the same. People i know say they sound similar too.

They share a few similarities, most notably the bassline but I wouldnt say they really sound alike.
