East Rutherford, NJ, United States (AHN) - A little leg injury didn’t' stop Jon Bon Jovi from taking the stage in his hometown. The Bon Jovi rocker sustained a torn calf muscle during the group's concert in New Jersey, but still managed to finish the number. ![]() Bon Jovi, 48, was seen limping on stage near the end of the show. He laughingly told the audience: "I'm old, what can I tell you."
The band then went on to play their final set.
An explanation on their website reads: "Near the end of Bon Jovi's two-and-a-half hour show at New Meadowlands Stadium on Friday night, Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle. Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their anthemic hit, 'Living On a Prayer.'"
"The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity home-town crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage. The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer." | |
