East Rutherford, NJ, United States (AHN) - A little leg injury didn’t' stop Jon Bon Jovi from taking the stage in his hometown. The Bon Jovi rocker sustained a torn calf muscle during the group's concert in New Jersey, but still managed to finish the number. Bon Jovi, 48, was seen limping on stage near the end of the show. He laughingly told the audience: "I'm old, what can I tell you."
The band then went on to play their final set.
An explanation on their website reads: "Near the end of Bon Jovi's two-and-a-half hour show at New Meadowlands Stadium on Friday night, Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle. Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their anthemic hit, 'Living On a Prayer.'"
"The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity home-town crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage. The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer." | |
