People claim Jimi Hendrix was the most influential guitarist of the 20th century, I'd beg to differ it was Wes Montgomery. cool

I think Wes was like Ali and Hendrix was like Bruce Lee where they were BOTH highly influential.

Jimi in turn was influenced by Wes on "Third Stone From The Sun." (Combined with Jeff Beck's playing on "Happenings Ten Years Time Ago."
