Can anyone recommend a decent compilation of Ray Charles 1960's recordings? I'm looking for a collection of Ray Charles' post Atlantic recordings. Ideally I would like a 2 disc set of his '60s recordings but I don't think such a thing exists. Right now I am leaning towards the 2 volumes of His Greatest Hits that were released in the late '80s but I'm a little dubious about the sound quality of those discs and am hoping that there may be something a bit more current. I know that the Genius and Soul box set probably has everything I am looking for but I can't find it for a decent price. There are the two Very Best Of collections on Rhino but they mix in a lot of Atlantic recordings which I already have. With the countless Ray Charles collections out there I figure there has got to be one that fits what I am looking for. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I would suggest you try to find and invest a copy of this double-disc compilation:
It's hard to find nowadays, but I would look on Amazon or eBay. It has a nice and diverse selection of his rewarding Atlantic and ABC sides. If you want just 1960's material only, the second disc of this compilation will do you well!

This is by far the best compilation of his 1960's ABC recordings:

Thanks for the recommendations. I think I'll go with Anthology. It's too bad that it seems like each compilation of this era seems to be missing one ot two key songs. It almost seems like the label is tring to "force" consumers to buy more than one album to get all the songs they are looking for.
