Happy Birthday, Stevie!

Stevie Nicks has completed 7 songs for her next solo album!
Dave Stewart is producing. Mick Fleetwood is on there as well from what Dave said on Twitter.
He said the songs are sounding EPIC!

Awesome. I love her, and I think her songwriting is getting better and better. Hopefully she'll also include a few unreleased classics on the new album, because she's got many gems that I would love to hear official versions of.

Looking forward to it. I realy like her last studio album but it must be scartched really badly becuase the last few songs have long streches of static.

Maybe this one will b heaps better than Trouble In Shangri-La!! Even though there were some good tracks on it, I was very disappointed in it!! But then, even that didnt even come close to perfection like all her other solo masterpieces!!!!

I hope Dave makes some "Eurythmics" sounding songs for Stevie, like "Missionary Man" or "You Have Placed a Chill..."

I've always loved Stevie Nicks--glad she's making a new album, hope working with Dave Stewart will turn out a good product a la Eurythmics early stuff! Any news on a possible tour?

Speaking of "update", Stevie needs 2 update her image and looks now that she is 62!!! All that long blonde hair just doesnt do her any justice now, particularly now that shes no longer the slim person she once was, plus the fact that shes not very tall either!!! U cant really see her underneath all those black blankets!!!LOL And she needs a complete new wardrobe now!! She can still rock her gypsy/witch image but she needs a complete overhaul!! The actress Helen Mirren is the same age as Stevie and she is stunning!! I loved what she wore when she was on The Late Show with David Letterman last week!!!! Also, look at people like Cher and Tina Turner!!!! They still rock their looks!! And then look at Raquel Welch and Jane Fonda!!!
Come on Stevie, this is 2010, not the 70s and 80s!!!

Helen Mirren didn't have any work done whatsoever until recently and it was minimal! She is one of my all time favorite actresses! I loved her in the Prime Suspect series--no work done there! I have to say one thing about older actresses in Europe--they get better roles and don't have to hide their age like in age-ise USA where everyone is paranoid of gray hair and any sign of wrinkles, and once a woman gets past 45 she sports-starves herself into a scarecrow because of fear of drooping skin! Unreal and unhealthy! Helen Mirren has always worn her age proudly and been sexy along with it! Great role model for women of all ages!

I don't see that happening.

I don't see Stevie changing her image for her new album, though I think she will "refresh" her look, however slight, for the new album. Meaning she might trim the dead ends off of her hair or buy a new long black dress, etc.

She lives out here around Camelback mountain somewhere. I love that woman

No, she won't.
Because that "gypsy" look is not just a stage costume. She really believes that she is some kind of reincarnated witch.
I remember reading (back-in-the-day) that in keeping with her "mystic" side, she recorded "Rooms on Fire" (the album) by candlelight!!! By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

"Rooms On Fire" is a track from one of her albums The Other Side Of The Mirror!!

You're absolutely right. I have that album somewhere in my parents' garage, and everytime that I refer to it, I call it "Rooms on Fire".
My bad. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

^ Nice way to tell fakes to fuck off.
I hate that you can always fake being a celebrity anywhere.

Funny how she doesn't even use a computer. lol. Someone needs to run these sites for her when the album comes out.
