For Cinnie & BlaqueKnight....The solo rap career of Professor Griff

Even today, I surprise that Griff didn't lay down a few rap vocals for Public Enemy. Natually, the group are still future R&R Hall Of Famers with Chuck D & Flavor Flav either way. But judging by his solo work, I think Griff is somewhat underrated.

In your opinion, am I right OR am I dead wrong?

Everyone else besides Cinnie & BK are welcome to comment. cool

For THIS track, it must be said that Griff did rip-off Chuck D's rhyme flow a bit! lol

You know, I even checked out his 00's album but I can see why he has trouble gaining more appeal.

I wish there was a program like "Unsung" for rappers. lol There's loads more half-way known or lost rappers where this splinter from Public Enemy came from.

At least Griff's solo career last at least 3 albums, not counting the side projects from the 2000's. Sister Souljah only lasted 1 album and she was more (in)famous than Griff ever was! lol

lol He was one of the first people in my lifetime that I noticed bring the "Pawns In The Game" theory into the mainstream, no matter how brief. Seems like the symbolism in the video (checkered floor/chess board) worked for the system AND against it. lol shhh

I see you also notice the irony of the fact the Pawns In The Game video was played on MTV, a network soon to be owned by ViaCON.

Remember the news report about Griff's house that was destroy by a fire?

Well, Griff is convince that he himself was someone else's "blood sacfifice". In other words, he believes TPTB are trying to silence him from speaking out against the music industry. Keep in mind that THIS is the same Griff that provoked controversy years earlier for speaking out against Zionism and specifically jewish pro-Zionists within the music industry & news media in the USA.

@RKJCNE

Nobody can identify his blood sacrifice. He has taken the oath as evident in the video. He's visually identifying and introducing himself as a mason. It's too late to depict the symbolism but I'm sure you see it.

@TonyVanDAm

Also, he most likely set his own house on fire.

He's controlled opposition. His market segment are to targetthe 5%, the Moors, all those cats.

Those who truly oppose, are dead.

But on topic, his flow is more coherent and dare I say more rhythmic than Chuck D's.#oopsIsaidit
