I believe that Elvis' Christmas Album is the best selling album of the 1950's.

I have it as having sold over 3m but who knows maybe you're right. Elvis' 'Golden Records' is higher on my list at around 6m so that one could have overtaken Miles but I am not sure

Ah, the list I am going by omits compilation albums so that explains why Elvis' Golden Records is not on it. The numbers from the '50s are pretty flawed so it's probably impossible to say which album actually did sell the most. I'm guessing that the christmas album had very strong catalog sales in the '60s, '70s and '80s but by the '90s and '00s I imagine Kind of Blue sold more.

Thanks for the lists guys. Abit shocked to see Phil Collin's "But seriously" top Germany. I assumed it sold big worldwide but that big?

I like some of Aussies John Farnham stuff. Mainly a one hit wonder in the UK for "Your the voice" (which amazinly did nothing in America), but I own his "Whispering Jack" album and its a good listen. Full of fairlights LOL. Got another later one and its not as good. Great voice though.

I love a cut he did for the unknown "Rad" soundtrack called "Thunder in my heart". Prefer that obscurity to anything off "Whispering Jack" LOL.
