Riff Ft. Highland Place Mobsters "White Men Can't Jump"
Song's producer Dallis Austin definately had his own sound back then. Check his Highland Place Mobsters album, or ABC's debut or TLC's debut for more work by him that sounds like this and vice versa. Shame they cut out the rap, but the the video is cool though.
I still think it's a hot song LOL. Anyone else agree? [Edited 7/5/10 21:04pm]

I enjoyed it back then and still do occasionally. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Riff... aren't these the cats from the movie "Lean On Me". The accapella singing group in the bathroom singing the school song?

Yes. They went on to have 2 top-10 hits, "My Heart Is Failing Me" and "If You're Serious," from their self-titled debut album. Their second album was less successful (although the remix to "Judy Had a Boyfriend" is something of a cult new-jack song). I believe a few members folded into Men of Vizion.

Yeah, their first album is alot different to their second. Their second was a blatent image change and be more rnb/newjack, whilst their first is more boyband poppy. I prefer their first. "Everytime my heart beats" is my cut. I do like "judy had a boyfriend". Catchy song.
