Classic/rare videos/studio-appearances you know of or remember seeing, but not yet online

Any now and then i hope finding any of them on the web. So far i've seen official clips of :

Brothers Johnson - The Real Thing (1981)

Saw it a few years back at a friend's house. He received it from a collector. Very cool clip of them jamming with a band.

And some sport action which is represented on the sleeve of Winners . George and Louis doing also a running-contest lol.

Little Benny & The Masters - Who Comes To Boogie (1985)

Yes, the soundclip is on youtube lol, but what i saw was the band jamming in a staged live-setting.

Cool camera-angles and i guess filmed around the Washington-area. Can't remember if jazz-

saxophonist Steve Coleman appeared in that video. At the time Steve was part of LB's hornsection,

and went from GoGo to the freejazz-genre called M-Base, a complex and on mathematics-based jazz-genre mixed with incredible funkrhythms.

Philip Bailey - I Want To Know You (1983/1984)

From his first gospel album, The Wonders Of His Love. Another buddy visited me years ago and showed a tape with this video.

A fun clip with him and the band in he studio having a ball. Cool 2-step track too (i believe produced by George Duke).

Thelma Houston - Fantasy And Heartbreak segueing into You Used To Me Hold So Tight (1984)

You see Thelma and her lover/date/hubby having a romantic evening at a harbor while hearing Fantasy & Heartbreak.

Can't exactly remember everthing in detail but there comes a moment where she disovers her lover cheating and that's

where You Used To... comes in the mix. There are though on youtube 2 cool Soul Train appearances of her around that era.

Clips i know of but never saw them :

Amuzement Park Band (APB) - All Points Bulletin (1984)

A group with 2 albums out. This filmed clip is is from their 2nd album, produced by David "Hawk" Wolinski (Rufus & Chaka Khan).

Bobby Nunn @ Soul Train (1982/1983)

Discovered about it online. He did the Groupie-jam (and maybe some other songs).

Patrice Rushen - Get Off (You Fascinate Me) (1984)

I had purchased a back-issue of Right On-magazine and there was this photo-page with a video-still of Miss Pizzazz wearing

an outfit with much red, shades on and slammin' on a bass-guitar. Text along with it described her "upcoming" video of the song.

Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame - Hump To The Bump (1984)

First noticed about it when browsing online. I've been spinnin' both Hall Of Fame-albums like crazy when i just had them.

Would be awesome to see this powerband in action. Seems that Rockamerica Videos distributed that clip.

Aiight, Shango......

this is onna those "good news / bad news" thangs......

I have the Patrice & the Arrington clips on video.

That's the good news...... lol

Bad news is that those & a SLEW of other such rare shit are all stuck on Beta. Just happened to be the preferred format in my household @ the time.

I plan to transfer them & the rest of it & get it all upped to YouTube soon.

No, I think you're referring to the episode of "Miami Vice" they were on.

"Midnight Special" is a song from their album "Rhythm & Romance". I'm certain I saw a video for it back in the day but I can't find it online.

One I know about but never seen it and can't find it online (nobody can).

Bone Thugs N Harmony performing Thuggish Ruggish Bone, it was Bizzy's turn to do his verse, but he forgot his lyrics so he started rapping Krayzie's verse instead.

And this isn't quite a music one, but back in 2007, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker were on BET for a few hours (this was when Rush Hour 3 was just getting into theaters). They just came on screen before and after commercial breaks and in between videos. And I remember the song "Shawty" by Plies was about to come on, so they were introducing the video, and Chris Tucker was trying to teach Jackie Chan how to say "shawty". It was hilarious, I have been looking for it ever since I seen it that day but I never found it. sad
