Janet is ok when it comes to music but when it comes to concerts and performances its pretty bizzare the things she does. There always has to be guys on stage that Janet.... nevermind. anyway does anyone like janets music and videos?

I believe the best song from her was "Feedback" and "Black cat". Besides those ones thats the only songs I like written by her.

She didn't write "Feedback". Rodney Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels, Emile, Tasleema Yasin did.

If you only like two songs, and diss her concerts, why even bother with a thread?

I think in an attempt to be negative, the OP meant how Janet pulls a guy on stage and seduces him w/ a dance. Not really bizarre. Sheila E. was doing it on the Purple Rain tour in 1984/5. She probably wasn't the first either.

That dude was HYSTERICAL!!!! On the DVD, there are about 5 other of those performances from different shows. Some of them are SO into it. One of them said, "It's been so long". HAHAHA Another said, "MY GLASSES! MY GLASSES!" SO worth the price of the DVD.

If 'Feedback' (which wasn't even written by Janet...most of 'Discipline' wasn't for that matter) and 'Black Cat' are the only songs written by Janet that you like, than you must not have listened to most of Janet's music because her cataloge has some phenomenal songs in it that she has written. My top 10 favorite Janet penned songs are:

1) What About?

2) Anytime, Anyplace

3) Together Again (especially the Jimmy Jam Deep Radio Edit - fantastic song)

4) Accept Me

5) New Agenda

6) Come Back To Me

7) I Get Lonely

8) Nasty

9) Feels So Right

10) Twenty Foreplay

There are soo many others that I love from her, but these would be my Top 10 even though the order changes periodically.

As for your remark about her concert performances being 'bizarre'. What's bizarre about them? Madonna hung herself on a cross during one of her previous tours. MJ had a rocket pack on and sailed out of the stadium (or rather his stunt double did), and Prince used to stroke his guitar until it squirted fake semen out of it. Janet just brings a fan on stage and dry humps him which usually the fan doesn't seem to mind at all. A risque song deserves a risque performance and Janet delivers that. My favorite performance from her still has to be this one:

She told Vh1 that if she didn't get to do this song for the show than she wasn't going to perform so they agreed to her demands and she gave a spectacular performance to an absolutely amazing and empowering song that deals with abuse. Janet's not only an amazing artist but a sweetheart who has remained humble after all these years. I don't see what's not to like about Ms. Jackson, but that's just me.

Now, this to me is what I'd consider to be a bizarre performance:

Didn't Madonna do this back in the 80's but without the guys in tightie whities? Just sayin'.
