I love Steve MacKay's saxophone playing on that album. He's still playing with Iggy today.

Yeah I read up about it. I love the craziness of "L.A. Blues" and his sax in that, "Fun House" and "1970" was great. nod

This is my favorite Stooges album & one of my favorites ever made. It feels like they tried to do a James Brown album without sounding much like James Brown (although the drum beat in Fun House is pretty Brown like.) MIGHTY grooves and one of the greatest psychedelic guitar solos ever in the middle of "Dirt."

I thought so too especially with Iggy's grunts and the sax.
