Speaking of Ice-T in Joeski Love´s video....Ice has a weird sense of humor and he has always been supportive of other rappers (except for his legendary beef with LL Cool J) but that doesn´t mean that he wasn´t "gangsta". Back when JoeskiLove´s PeeWee´s Dance single came out, Ice-T had already released most of his landmark gangsta rap classics such as DogNThe Wax, 6 N Tha Morning, Ya Don´t Quit etc. , and then , a year later , he released Rhyme Pays.

He also was heavily involved in crimes like robberies and other stuff but he quit that after he crashed his Porsche ( he nearly got killed in that accident and decided to focus on rapping).

He´s quite a character and I like his early stuff and the Analog Brothers album he did with Kool Keith under the Ice Oscillator moniker.

And yes, he definitely needs to hit the gym again or hang out with his old buddy Melle Mel for inspiration.

Here´s one of their classic songs......Melle Mel, Ice-T, Afrika Islam....the Zulu Kings.

Ha ha @ that Eric Clapton "Layla" sample in that cut. If I heard that song I know that I would have remembered it. First time I'm hearing it.

Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

OK....but Melle Mel is only three years younger. Melle Mel was born in 1961, Ice- T was born in 1958 ( same age as Prince).

Now look at Melle Mel´s current physique:

Whoa...I wasn't being clear in my comparison of "T" with "Mel". I guess what I was trying to say was that everybody can't be a Melle Mel. Which is why I added that all rappers physiques are going to pot now. In addition, I don't even know if Melle Mel's body is "natural" or whether it was served to him courtesy of Balco Labs. I'm just saying that I really don't know. I just know what Mel's body was like back in the days of "The Message" and it was NOT all of that, and at 49 years old....muscle tissue is less present in the body, as it is when you are like 25...so I just dont know thats all.

I will admit that I really didn't care for Ice T a whole lot, and I'm from NY. Ice T did not get a whole lot of radio play prior to Colors in NY, and he didn't even get that much more radio play in NY after "Colors". This doesnt mean that NY hip hop heads were not aware of Ice T or his material....I'm just saying that eventhough I'm an old school hip hop head, and was very much actively listening to it back then...I just did not hear very much "T" and I didn't go searching for it either.

Also, I had no idea that Ice T did a song with Melle Mel....ha! I just made the comparison because they are of the same age group. I'm going to go and listen to the song now. Never even knew they linked up before you posted that. I stopped following Melle Mel after "White Lines".

lol Hey, it´s all good. I didn´t mean to come across so seriously.

Yes, they were part of the Zulu Kings project, produced by NYC DJ and producer Afrika Islam. They released a couple of EPs and 12"s.

Ice used to invite rappers from the east coast to LA during the early days and he used to hang out in NYC quite often, and he always had mad respect for NYC rappers, and this respect was mutual. He was born in New Jersey but grew up in LA.

I don´t know whether Melle Mel uses something to look like that but, let me tell you as someone who´s been exercising for more than decade now...no matter what you take, be it steroids or HGH, it still takes a lot of determination and energy and focus to build up a physique like that.

1- There's somebody for everybody out there.

2- They get what they need from each other, whatever on earth that may be.

Yeap, they are obviously serving a "purpose" in each other's lives. I was just curious about it.

Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

Ughhh...see now you are reminding me why I hated him as a rapper. He was NOT the rapper for me eventhough he was touted as one of the best from East and West coast fans alike. I t hink I never liked him because maybe I thought that his "hooks" were weak, and his delivery was old school (older school than him).

So why would a man marry a woman like that?

Same reason a man cheats or a dog licks himself. BECAUSE HE CAN!!!!!! lol
