I think it's completely possible that it was unplanned. He has a place in N.O. near the practice area - heard it - went down to join the festivities.

Hearing him sing live, impromptu like that, reminds me how far we've come in this music era. Half of the artists on Billboard top 10 could not sing live on the street like that.

Me too - I just love Lenny. I've been a fan since his Romeo Blue days. I enjoy most of his music and he puts on an amazing live show. He seems quite down to earth too. I'm looking forward to new music from him. His last cd was awesome.

I heart Baptism. It grew me on me 10x this past year and I love it.

The speed with which Lenny is walking at the beginning makes me think it might not have been planned. If he has a place there he wouldn't even have had to hear it. Maybe somebody just game him a call real quick like. And there is some screaming when he first walks up. Either way, just suuuuper Been a fan since the beginning when I Build This Garden For Us, a girl and some acid rocked my world simultaneously. I think everything past Circus is hit and miss, but I'm still really looking forward to whatever he does next.

I love Lenny's general vibe of Good Will. That's something today's artists have completely forgotten, and why we look back at the 60's as some of the best years for music.

I've always liked Lenny(even though I feel like he comes off as poser sometimes in his music ).

But after watching that clip in some blog, I'm def willing to dismiss those feelings,,,,,poser or not, he gave those kids something intangible to remember for the rest of their lives, many artists bend backward to show their fans that they care, but he did it in such a simple and humane fashion and it def showed that he was sincere about it.

I'll love him for it.
