he gave him a harmonica and let him murder the song

as much as i like stevie, it wasn't a bad performance by any means, but it wasn't his best

I was there last night! Fantastic stuff, had a great spot a few rows from the front to the right of the stage. Pretty much a hits set as you'd expect but he's changed things up a fair bit since I saw him in London in '08 which is cool. Was great to see him getting so much love from the predominently young audience although I still get a little dismayed when I see people losing their minds to 'I just called to say I love you' but barely showing a flicker of recognition over an absolute killer like 'Master Blaster'!

Saw George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic headline one of the smaller stages the previous night and that was great too! Good festival for the funk soul fans although its a shame Mos Def had to cancel his Friday Night set as I'm sure that would have been great too.

Well, yes i was. And he was fantastic, but that's just Stevie for you. Must have been great to go, but i recorded it. That'll do. biggrin

I would love Prince to do it though, the crowd/atmospher there is awesome.

It was evident the Glasto crowd don't "love" Obama as much as Steveland does though. Honeymoon period over. lol

Enjoyed Dr Who on stage with Orbital too. lol
