Stevie Wonder lights up 'magic' Glastonbury Watching this on BBC in the UK right now it's about 1 or 2 hour behind the live show, Stevie is rocking, it a really hot summers day in the UK at it just great to see him, great show

I was there last night! Fantastic stuff, had a great spot a few rows from the front to the right of the stage. Pretty much a hits set as you'd expect but he's changed things up a fair bit since I saw him in London in '08 which is cool. Was great to see him getting so much love from the predominently young audience although I still get a little dismayed when I see people losing their minds to 'I just called to say I love you' but barely showing a flicker of recognition over an absolute killer like 'Master Blaster'!
Saw George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic headline one of the smaller stages the previous night and that was great too! Good festival for the funk soul fans although its a shame Mos Def had to cancel his Friday Night set as I'm sure that would have been great too. | |

Well, yes i was. And he was fantastic, but that's just Stevie for you. Must have been great to go, but i recorded it. That'll do.
I would love Prince to do it though, the crowd/atmospher there is awesome.
It was evident the Glasto crowd don't "love" Obama as much as Steveland does though. Honeymoon period over.
Enjoyed Dr Who on stage with Orbital too. | |
