I think with the right team Brandy can come back. She still has one of the best female voices. Maybe The Dream should produce her new project @ IDJ...It don't hurt to try. I mean Whitney came back after tragedy and did ok... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. ![]()

I'm not talking about Whitney's horrid tour. I'm talking about her comeback album. She had the right people behind her to bring her back from that drug den she was living in. If Whitney can come back anybody can. She was at the lowest U can get.... Mariah had a big hit with The Dream producing called "Touch My Body". Remember that? What happen on her next CD after that could have happen to any big artist like her. Blame it on the music Industry.Even though her last cd was horrid to...lol will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! It was still a turd @ "Touch My Body". And Whitney had Clive Davis.

Yeah! Clive was one of the main people behind Whitney. I liked 'Touch My Body" and so did Aretha Franklin who sung it live in concert & millions of others that made it a hit...But this is about Brandy's comeback.. Aww Hell! Def Jam?!
I don't see why artists are still drawn to DJ with their track record of recent years. Their misses are far above their hits these days. I can understand if this was back in Def Jam's heyday or something but its not. Maybe the prestige of a once succesful label hasn't worn off yet or maybe LA can sell his shit like no other. IDK.
Either way, I just hope she picks up where she left off with "Afrodisiac" and not "Human." I was really disappointed with Human. I understand where she was in her life (coming off of being let go from Atlantic Records and the fatal accident) and that album reflects that space she was in to me. Hopefully she feels cleansed now.
She or her team's instincts were right with Afrodisiac. Although it didn't sell, artistically it was the right blend for her at time. Full Moon probably features the last few good songs between her and Rodney but sonically it did become redundant.
Maybe that Keith Crouch guy is still around from her first joint. Her debut is near flawless if I recall. I'd go back to Kayne, Organized Noise and whoever else from Afro and produce some new heat.

"Human" sounds like it's filled with auto tune. *sigh*
