Mariah Carey: she won't do it her persona is far too feminine, bimbo and non-offensive for that

Beyonce: she might but I don't think so. She is a married woman after all plus I don't really seeing her doing it

Rihanna: she could do it but only if her sales plummet seriously and/or she gets dumped in a nasty way by whoever is gonna be her next bf. She has a tendency to try to prove she's soooo wild

Katy Perry: no, I don't think so. She did 'I Kissed A Girl' but it was more like a joke. I don't think she would go all the way saying she's bi

Ke$ha: she will do it sooner or later. It goes with her freak persona. Although I seriously doubt anyone will care.

My pick is:

MILEY CYRUS: the girl is seriously going for the sex-persona and being/pretending to be a bi girl is the next logical step. Plus, thanks to her age and to her earlier innocent persona and unlike Ke$ha, she would actually shock people with that, people would notice.

Amazing double standards sad...females can say they are bi-sexual or just experimenting with their lesbo side, but if a male has sex with another male he islabeled forever asa homo(sexual) or gay or f** or qu***.

IMHO a heterosexual person can have a homosexual sex act - it doesn't mean that is their sexuality.

I know lots of homosexuals that are married and have children, but it did not change their sexuality.

Miley. Didn't she not too long ago do a performance where she pretended to kiss a girl on stage?

I hear you but let's be real....these double standards were probably created by men. Men are so consumed with sex and defining sexuality that they've created double standards that in turn back fired on them. Plus people probably just view male and female sexuality differently and perhaps they should. shrug Kind of like how a dude can fuck 10,000 women and be a macho player but if a woman fucks even 1,000 men then she's a whore. That's the male thought process.

It is interesting that if you're a man and you have sex with another man once...you are just gay. If you're a woman and you have sex with another woman once...you are bi or were experimenting.

Meh....I think it all boils down to dick. Dicks are forever in "drive". Pussies stay in "neutral".

If you're a guy you're either stickin' it or getting stuck and that's probably why people are quick to label a dude gay even if only ever had one encounter.

The double standard is overwhelmingly male driven. I totally agree there.

Something else that strikes me...

If these proclamations of being gay, bi or whatever are genuine, I applaud the arrival at whatever liberation these artists are, in fact, finding. And I also think they do offer a certain visibility to those closeted individuals out there who might feel isolated. But (and forgive me for any latent sexism) I think these cutesy female entertainers coming out wields only a limited amount of risk and/or activist return on investment anymore. Because sexual ethics, commodification, etc. are so dictated by straight males, these women's sexuality will be claimed by straight men regardless of where they fall... especially if these women are already in the entertaining field. Hetero men are just greedy pigs like that. smile When we start seeing these gals come out and introduce, say, some shockingly butch sexual aesthetic that straight men could no longer twist into serving their own lipstick-on-lipstick jollies -- or more not-already-obviously-flaming male entertainers coming out -- then this stuff will mean more, because it'll better serve as instances in which hetero males really can feel their assumptions about how LGBTs look and act and are here as things for their amusement challenged.

Straight male actors are able to get away with a bromance angle a lot better than straight male rappers.

It was "weak sauce". Miley's lips didn't even touch the other woman at all.

That's what I've been saying. nod If an Angelina Jolie kissed Megan Fox, they'll get cheered. But if a Brad Pitt kissed a Russell Brand, they'll get either laugh at OR get booed off the stage.

The double standards were created by white males (the history of the adult film industry can verify THIS fact). But the black males in hip-hop/rap have been taken the double standards to new heights by having bisexual females all in their videos.

I know some people want to see Brad & Russell kiss, but I know more people want to see Angie & Megan kiss, including straight women.

I think it relates to the fact that men's magazines have half naked women on the cover and women's magazines have half naked women on the cover. Women are more beautiful, plain & simple! lol who would we rather look at doing anything [not athletic] ? wink

I've always wanted some dick ever since I was around five years old. However, I didn't want the little hairless dicks of the little boys my age in the neighborhood. That comparing dicks stuff that little boys do never turned me on as a child. I wanted the hairy dicks of those grown men I saw in the magazines. lol

I never acted upon my sexuality until I was 22. Actually, I lived in denial my entire teenage years. I slept with a few girls during this period but they did absolutely nothing for me sexually. I pictured a dick in my mind in order to get an erection while we had sex. If I hadn't pictured a dick in my mind, I would have never been able to get it up because pussy does absolutely nothing for me whatsoever and never has.
