i'm watching the Bucharest dvd right now.

i got it paused on "she's out of my life".

"workin' day and night" is the SHIT!. i really liked that performance.

"thriller" was good too.

although i've never been to any of Michael's concerts, the dvd's will have to do.

by the way.....the bad tour needs to be out like, STAT!

It is hard to believe that it's been a year since the passing of King of Pop Michael Jackson. To me, it's still surreal. Like many other fans as myself, it is still hard to accept. Listening to his music. Hearing his angelic voice. Watching his gravity defying dance moves brings me joy yet deep sadness at the same time. A bright star. An enigma. An icon taken away too soon. There isn't a person alive who hasn't been touched by Michael Jackson, from his millions of fans to new school artists like Usher, Justin Timberlake, Neyo, Beyonce, to his own superstar sister Janet Jackson. Throughout all his influence within the entertainment industry, I'd like to share what Michael Jackson meant to me. From a little child, Michael Jackson has been a major part of my life from watching him on Soul Train, to the Jackson 5 Christmas album that my grandparents would play every year, As I got older, and his career progressed into Off The Wall and Thriller, I became obsessed (as the rest of the world). I studied and mastered his dance moves and style to a point of winning a talent show in high school impersonating him. I remember the choreography and excercise to his videos to this day. I was fortunate to see him live three time on his last major US tour supporting the Bad cd. I remember my grandfather bringing me and my best friend food and soda as we slept outside Madison Square Garden (NYC) for tickets to his concert. Seeing Michael live was an experience I will never forget. His affect on his audience was unreal. I witnessed fans being carried out on stretchers from over excitement. I even dressed like him, from hair style to outfit when attending his shows. I credit Michael Jackson for helping me realize that you can be an individual, different, against the norm yet still be a success.His music touched the world, It made us dance, yet always had a message of peace and love for each other and our planet. Michael Jackson was the greatest entertainer, a true showman, yet never turned his back on his fans or his concerns for our world and the man made destruction of it. He made us look at ourselves if we wanted change. Many try, but we will NEVER witness the enigma that is Michael Jackson in our lifetimes. It is well known that Michael faced many issues in his life from extreme plastic surgery, alleged child abuse, and drug abuse, problems that many of us faced or know someone who has faced. Just not in the public eye. Many times, people are only appreciated after death which is unfortunate. I thank Michael Jackson fro breaking down racial barriers. I thank Michael Jackson for bringing the music and video to another level. I thank Michael Jackson, most of all, for touching my life, making me a better person, and speaking to me through his music. May you rest in peace, Michael You are loved. I pray that you get the peace in death that you couldn't in life. Rest, Michael. You have changed the world. You have done good. R.I.P. man i remember right where i was when i heard the news of MJs death it felt like the whole world stopped turning when i found out that he had died i didnt want to believe it at first but then when i heard the news i found out that it was true i was hoping that MJ would heal and get well soon but then i already knew that it was too late and that he had died

MJ, your music and your legacy will countine on forever and thank you for everything you have contributed through your music, dance, and humanitarian work for the world despite the disgusting lies the media tried to put out there about you

Man I'm listening to the Hello World: The Motown Solo Collection and I'm near the end of the Ben album from 1972....One word: PRICELESS! This man had a voice that was so powerful and viable that it could lift the tinniest hairs of your arm. The way he interpreted past classics and made them his own is so profound and it proves that he held his own even as a young star.

Hell Yeah. "Just A little Bit Of You" is right up there in his top 20 songs i think. Great album indeed. pisses me off when OTW is stated as his first solo album. The guy was a veteran in his teens.
