Cher sounds like Mr. Ed, but her style of singing is fitting to her repertoire.

Besides, Cher is SO much more than her voice.

One of my fav singers of all time; her career is uneven, tough, and many of her albums suck, but a double CD compilation is necessary, so many GREAT singles from the 70s and the late 80s...

So true, the European "Very Best of Cher" which was 2 discs was nearly perfect, if it wasn't for those awful remixes of "One by One" and "Different Kind of Love Song."

I am a huge fan of Cher's, but her voice is bloody awful. She tries hard, but she really can't sing. I love her acting and I used to love the Sonny & Cher show and her own Cher show, but she can not sing.

Yes. And she has improved with time as well...she has put much training into her voice and it really shows in recent live performances. Wish she would put out a new cd...its been 9 years since Living Proof!

I think the only new music we may get from her are some songs on the Burlesque soundtrack. Seems she just wants to perform for the rest of her career.

i think she has a good voice. also a very distinct one. oddly enough, one of my favourites by her is the "Living Proof" album. autotuned to the max!! LOL. but she's nothing to prove considering her back catalogue.

Cher can sing, she has always had a unique voice, it think this is why it's questioned.

I love her old stuff.

I met Cher when I was a pre-teen person.. When she was part of Sonny and Cher.

She was the nicest person.

She wasn't always auto-tuned. I love the old songs.

When I was a little girl, I was fascinated with her outfits, and the fact that her voice wasn't like everyone else's.

I have a very husky voice, and I liked that I could sing along to her songs! biggrin

I like her as an actress. nod

Of course she wasnt

She was the first artist 2 use autotune

eek So Roger as a soloist and with Zapp? How old are you? eek

A talk box which was connected to a the keyboards which controlled the tone of his voice.
