Funny girl appreciation thread One of my fav musicals. Don`t rain on my parade, my man, people, second hand rose... Wonderful songs, and Streisand was gorgeous in this.

Yes, especially the title track. But the other songs are a little boring i think...

A total farce of a movie, and purposely so.
I've memorized, and driven people crazy playing, "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" over and over. I even ripped just the video of the song from the movie and put it on my AppleTV. Of course it being in Wall*E didn't help. If I had the balls, I'd make a video of me miming that song. HA!
But Funny Girl is a very funny film. I think people dismiss Streisand as some gay icon, and forget that the movies she's been part of have been pretty awesome most times. | |
