James Brown says "Oh baby, Don't You Weep"

I love this tune.

PS. QUIZ: Who can name all of his soul friends he mentions throughout the song?

PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

One of my favorite early '60s JB tunes EVER! So soulful you can smell the collard greens from the guitar's chicken scratches! lol

This is a nice tune but it makes me regret that he recorded so little new music in 1964-1965. Like most folks I prefer his late '60s/early '70s stuff but he was doing some interesting stuff earlier too and it would have been interesting to hear what he would have come up with in those years that he was "on strike."

Then it's just Bobby. I wasn't sure because Otis had a song called "It's Too Late".

"It's Too Late" was a hit for Wilson Pickett in 1963.
