I will never believe that Big or Puff would do that on purpose..they really just did not have anything to do with it at all. For what purpose would it do for them!?

They probably didn't do anything but I feel they knew who shot 'Pac and felt like they couldn't help him. We'll never fully know what happen. I see both sides of the argument. |

I honestly don't think Biggie had anything to do with it directly but Diddy I wouldn't put it past. He was very hungry for power and eventually he would get it but I don't think we'll ever really know at what cost. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. |

Yeah because Pac kept saying how BIG felt Diddy had treated him like he was shit when he and Pac were hanging out, then when he got hot, BIG basically turned his back on Pac, according to him. |

'Who Shot Ya' by Biggie started 2PAC off. I don't care if he really meant 'pac or not (although surely insinuated), that shit was irresponsible.
What people forget is that 2PAC helped Biggie to rise to his position. Biggie slept on his couch. Then 2PAC is shot up and Biggie doesn't give a fuck. Instead he releases 'Who Shot Ya'.

Yep. Diddy knew somethin' and possibly planned the whole thing. He is shady as the sun is hot. |

Yeah exactly. So BIG and 'em wasn't at all innocent. I can see why Pac was mad. I understand his pain. But I think Diddy probably put something in BIG's ear. Look at how braggadocious he was on "Life After Death" on "The Long Kiss Goodnight" (which was obviously about 'Pac, how could've had not?) talking about "we're talking about no rappers, we're talking about YOU motherfucker!" Come on now. Putting in that "we ain't mad at cha" bit and BIG and Diddy never dissed 'Pac back?! GTFOOH lol |

and The Fugees did too. That's why Pac was goin' after ALL OF THEM
That's why I laughed when Wyclef or Nas appeared on posthumous releases because Pac didn't even like them and made it known "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |

And Q Tip too. I was like "what the fuck did PAC do to make them angry?" And yeah it's HILARIOUS they would do that. Yeah give a brother roses when he's not here to smell 'em. I think both Pac and BIG got used. If they didn't have strangers and hangers-on around them, they may be alive today. It's a fucking shame. They COULD'VE ruled the world had BIG left Bad Boy and joined Pac's Thug Life squad. Hearing Pac's interview and him saying BIG didn't trust Puffy was the first inclination that maybe BIG and Puffy's relationship was not all it was cracked up to be. [Edited 6/17/10 17:07pm] |

His murder was nothing but some Negro mess, plain and simple. This shit happens everyday, it's happening at this very minute in the black community. You live by the sword, eventually you'll die by it. Tupac wasn't an innocent and it appears he left a trail of enemies real and imagined. He sure wasn't the fresh face kid I saw in the movie "Fresh". As he gained a noted name for himself in Rap/Hip Hop, Tupac made a choice to embraced a warped self-destructive hyper macho bullshit persona that's claimed many a life in our community. Less keep it real.
Who killed Tupac? I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised it's as simple as this . . . because 99.9 % it's: Black males talk-in' shit and it gets waaaaaay out of hand and someone gets really, really, really offended. East Coast vs. West Coat: Negro's taking sides in some delusional mess for which they weren't even apart of. Your quintessential gang mentality talkin' about their territory / my turf - you don't own a brick and not smart enough to make a brick. . . no name fool(s) in the crowd. Let the dead bury the dead.

I think Mobb Deep got involved in the Pac bashin' because of Nas, and somewhat because of Biggie who they were cool with at that time. Remember Puffy was dancin' in Mobb's "Survival Of The Fittest" video back in the summer of 95', so Mobb and Big were cool at that point.

Prodigy recently said he and 'Pac would have sorted it out. I think they became involved due to Biggie.
Nas claims he and 2PAC made peace shortly before his shooting. Whether this is true I don't know, but to me, Nas appears to have the least to do with it all.
Jay-Z involved himself due to his friendship with Biggie. Same with Lil' Kim.
Fugees are just shit. They probably did it for credibility.
Yes, Biggie did diss 'Pac badly on 'Life After Death' despite taking the 'moral' high ground. But then Biggie got blown-away himself shortly after. And despite his skilled lyricsm he will never be remembered as 2PAC is. Nor regarded as affectionately.
Biggie has Puffy in his ear. 2PAC had Suge in his ear. Neither makes for good circumstances. Suge was a living nightmare.

Who knows...maybe Puffy paid Suge to set the whole thing up with Tupac. Then Puffy doesn't pay up like he originally agreed to or at the very least didn't pay the amount agreed upon..so for pay back, Suge sets up the murder of Biggie...Puff's cash cow. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Me neither!
The snake will stoop to anything. Somebody from another board also said that Suge had something to do with it to in order to burn any bridges Pac had with those NYC cats.
Given the history of "divide & conquer" among our people, I wouldn't put it past him either. |

Never really thought about that.
Think about it, there could've been a talk of a coalition between Pac and BIG. Politics (and typical n****rish behavior) stopped that from happening. [Edited 6/18/10 13:15pm] |

And 'Pac near the end of his life felt like the media (and idiots) were trying to make it into a turf war. I just think he was just upset with anyone who associated themselves with BIG. So yeah the Fugees were idiots for what they did trying to get in on it. Silly putties. I'm glad Pac got in their asses for that reason lmao |
