Countless Classical and Jazz composers and artists

The new grief groupies which have flooded the MJ forums have put me off going on them, before he announced the concerts etc it was not to bad sure there were some crazy fans but the newbies are just awful they really think they know everything and have a go at some of the older fans who might disagree.

Heaven help if someone mearly asks why they have only just become fans and didnt feel the need to support him before!

I've had a word with joetyler via orgnote, which really is the place to take a problem with a fellow orger to, not the forums.

I just don't love Prince enough for his liking, despite spending thousands upon thousands on the annoying little squirt throughout my lifetime, i'm in his eyes not allowed to be critical.

I love tons of artists that people here bash all the live long day but I'm not defending a damn one of them. These people are rich and couldn't give less than a damn that I would spend my time defending them on a Prince site.

Yeah I agree but the flipside of that are the group of older fans who act like they are the gate keepers to MJ's popularity and legacy, deciding who can and can not be 'legitmate' fans lol I find both groups equally annoying (and I'm a lifelong fan lol). It's probably the same for fanbase of an artist that's been around for more than one generation though.

Yeah that is very true, especially for a few groups, one being Metallica, mainly because they got a whole batch of fans with the Black Album, but the ones there before that HATE that album and those fans. Similar is U2 alot of early fans HATE the fans that joined on with The Joshua Tree and also there is REM who got a whole slew of fans with Out of Time. Its viewed that these bands sold out to the older fans

its so true, half that garbage they say has no truth to it. Janet gets the most hate so thats why her fans are getting into arguements all the time. If people stop disrespecting Janet Jackson so much the fans wouldn't be going so crazy. I remember when i first go on the internet forums thats all people did was disrespect janet. I was younger then and would argue them down, but now im so used to the hatred for janet jackson it don't even matter anymore.

LASTLY Janet Jackson is one of the few mellow, HUMBLE, beautiful, Don't have to try so hard, sincere artist left. Not going to mention names, but other female artist are just fake, egotistical, attention seeking.

I noticed a lot of people on here with MJ avatars, half of them weren't thinking about MJ before his death. I WILL NOT be like them and put an MJ avatar. Which is why i kept my avatar.

I love the majority of MJ fans myself. Some of them are friends for life. It's like a big family sometimes. I know there's a huge MJ fan family on facebook I keep up with, and I'd hardly call them "stans". They defend him when needed and are very sweet people.

i dont have any problems at all with people having different opinions, there is a difference between disagreeing and plane hating for no reason. if you dont like janet or any other artist i dont see the point in going into every thread with their name on it for the purpose of telling everybody how much you hate them, we get it.lets take this thread for example, it clearly says artists you LIKE but the fans turn you off...already a few posters who everybody already knows hate janet has come in here just to remind us that they hate her.there is nothing wrong with debating or disagreeing, alot of people dont think janet can sing, i happen to like her voice...we will just disagree but its nothing to argue about. but when you have people make ridiculous statements such as janet is only successful because of michael, then yes her fans will respond.

IMDB.com has a lot of crazy MJ fans on his message board...I don't go on there a lot...and some of them are just weird beyond all reason.
