NICE COVER/VIDEO!

When I saw this video a few weeks back when he posted it on Facebook, I didn't realize it was a Human League cover, until SUNDAY when I checked out Human League's... after I revisited an old NWF post: http://prince.org/msg/8/237744

just listen tyo the original-such a great early electro tune

i loved the league then-even scary Phils hair and heels

the remix album-unlimited love and dancing is a killer too

dare-one of the best 80's albums-1981

and i do believe-its a linn drum machine on it too

I have to hear the original.....I did not see a video to it so I will listen tot he song sooner or later

He just came out of nowhere I say a year or two ago. He is a musical compser who specialises in '80's Funk' so to speak. He released a double album last year called "Toeachizown" wich is OUTSTANDING I should say. Influences defenitly include Rick James, Zapp and Prince.

He is currently producing Steve Arrington's next album and have been working with Jody Watley.

Not quite. You can see he came to the org to clear the air about a "top 5 essential funk lps" list that Dam compiled and I re-posted. It was sort of a rough introduction to "the ambassador of boogie funk".

Man it took a long time to get somebody doing funk like this in a mainstream way

I fracking love the LEAGUE - not too keen on the cover but cool to see it getting some love.

I was a bit disappointed by his album.

His funk is a lot more spaced out than I prefer.

I still have a gang of respect 4 his vision and it would be fun 2 sit back and talk about music with the guy.

Dude LOVES Prince You can hear it in his music

Although I gotta admit, his biggest pet peeve (the Prince/MJ comparison) is hella dated
