We all have songs ( I guess) that we've heard and for some reason or other the name/title of the song eludes us. I have a song that I think came out in the 1990/1991 and over the years I've forgotten most of the lyrics.

I wanna be, I wanna be..... I can't or I don't want to live without you

(Chorus) I'm living on the outside of your loving heart

I'm standing on the outside of your heart

It's an uptempo song, and every once in a while it runs across my mind and I obsesse about for weeks. Giving up hope that I may never know the artist, or album title. The chorus is sung throughout the song and I've put into search engines to no avail. So, if you can help a sista out please do. Thank you.

There's this song I hear ALL the time, and this bar I pass in West Hollywood always has the video playing on the speakers. It's this White woman, and she's on some kind of white couch or something and she has some kind of robe or coat on, and the camera's rotating around her and there's this colorful background and she's saying something like "Why is should be, mrs. shadalaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy" lol or something like that.

And there's this other song, it kinda sounds like Swing Out Sister and they're saying something like "You'll get bluuuuuuuueeeeee, you'll get bluuuuuuuueee." I can't for the life of me find out what these damn songs are.
