How old are you? I don't mean specifically but are you in your teens, 20's or 30's?

Every EnVogue fan knows that after releasing the single "Don't Let Go", Dawn went solo and the groups ensuing album "V3" didn't sound the same with three voices. Terry went solo after that.

Needless to say they figured out they wouldn't be successful without each other so they got back together recently. If Boys II Men could do the same maybe it could help them as well.

Terry was the first to do a solo project in 95. Then "Don't Let Go" came out on the "Set It Off" soundtrack...then Dawn left.

Boyz II Men never really broke up. Mike left the group for health reasons. The other 3 are still going and making music....mostly remake albums....but still going.

Mike doesn't talk to the rest of the group. They don't get along anymore. I heard Wanya saying if Mike learned to stick to the rules of the band he was welcomed back but not before he learned to do just that. There is a personal beef going on there. This was when they had talks of a reunion tour.

That's now, but that wasn't the main reason he left the group. He was having LOTS of back problems and could hardly stand to perform.

Of course, with most groups, everyone has ego problems.

I was under the impression that they let Mike go from the group BECAUSE of his health problems..which I thought was extremely shady.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

There's more to it than just his health. Since he stated that it would be a great idea for a reunion tour (20 years coming up), I figure his health isn't an issue anymore. All bullshit aside, they don't sound the same with three voices. They lack depth in their harmonies. It was the same with En Vogue.

I agree that they sound different live (BIIM). I heard them sing "End of the Road" on Wendy Williams and really noticed how the lack of Mike's bass part really took something away from the song.

Same with EnVogue.

I guess if BIIM wasn't still making a decent living, they would reunite with Mike really quick. En Vogue was reduced to playing fairs to make their money. Not saying that's a bad gig, but to go from selling out arenas to fairs is a BIG reality check.

Terry had a minor hit with "Wherever You Are".

Thank you! I've had that song stuck in my head since '95 or '96 when she performed it on the Nickelodeon show "All That." Thought I'd never figure out who it was or the title of the song. lol

I remember right before Dawn's solo album was released, she did an interview with Vibe. She was gloating at the fact that EnVogue's recent album (recorded without her) was a flop.Karma has a way of catching up to people. Her own solo album was released and went absolutely nowhere lol

That's true and i loved Dawn like crazy. I understand Dawn didn't like the record

deal they had but she shouldn't have flipped out on her girls like that.

Yeah,I know that she was pissed at the record deal that they had,and who could blame her? But she was really bitter to the other girls and probably felt that she didn't need them anymore shrug In any case,I'm glad that they worked out their differences and are now back together.

I'm laughing because I can't believe a fan of Sister Sledge didn't know that June was dead.
