According to Mack Daddy (the dark-skinned one in Kriss Kross), they were on bad terms with JD the last time all three of them were together.

UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Without Master P there would be no 'Young Money'. Simple as. He started the shit, the whole model.
No Limit released such a high volume of material, some of the good stuff got over-looked in the mix.
'Ghetto D', I think is a pretty good southern rap album. The 'Snoop Dogg' approved version is uncut and remastered very nicely.
Incidentally, No Limit are still releasing new material. Might as well since their sound is all over the place now anyone.
And no, I don't think they are/were the best lyricists (I'll leave that to Nas, Wale, Mos Def etc) but did/do they make banging, dare I say it, entertaining records? Yes. IMO.

AND, Timbaland is not even Hip-Hop anymore. So I don't know what he was doing there unless the 'Dirty South' includes commercial pop records.
I'd take Master P over Timbaland and Jermaine Dupri any day of the week.
