The honores were: Uncle Luke, J. Prince, Jermaine Dupri, Master P, Timbaland, 2 Live Crew and Organized Noize.

I'm mad they had Bow Wow do Jump. Really? Kriss Kross couldn't bother showing up?

and YES @ the Luke tribute. I should've been there in the audience. I gotta find out who's being honored next year and where because I wanna go

WHAT??? They had Bow Wow to do "Jump"??? I recorded this on my DVR because I was having too much fun watching all the old hip hop videos on VH1 Soul....they really pulling some great ones out of the vault this week, all hip hop heads should check it out...but back to the Honors..knowing this information, I'm too sure I want to watch it.

That's the thing, they weren't but when you say "Dirty South" they are the first that come to my mind.

I didn't watch the Honors last year, but I can only remember two years that stuck out in my mind as exciting...the year that Big Daddy Kane was honored and the year the Wu Tang Clan was honored.

Yeah exactly. I saw a few of their old videos on VH1 Soul last night... back then everything seemed to be so much more fun music wise. Brought back a lot of memories.

And Robin Power on the female side. Woman was a terrible, terrible rapper. But I believe that's all Prince's fault, lol.

Everyone on Twitter was saying how spectacular Bow Wow's performance was. I just saw what he did, and I don't see what was so exciting. Like others, I wish Kelly and Smith were up there themselves doing their old Kris Kross songs.

Outkast probably declined, just like Mr. Scarface (I doubt they skipped over them.) That's probably the reason the honored Organized Noize.

I watched some of it. I was pumped about Mystikal being there. Overall it was kinda good but it could have been better.
