Sounds like Lalah a little. The sax sounds like Jr. Walker a bit. I love it.

The Jackson 5 did this song on "Skywriter" and it does indeed sound like Gladys.

The name of the song is "Touch" though.

If I satisfy you

How can you satisfy me?

The song was originally done by the Supremes but this ain't them...or Lalah...or Gladys.

Here's a "remix" of the Supremes version.

I'm pretty sure it's Renee Geyer. One of my favorite white soul sistas out of Australia.

Thanks Tony, I was hoping to string this out a little longer.razz Well...the suspense is over.

The mystery artist is indeed RENEE GEYER. And this track "Touch" is from her 1977 album 'Moving Along'.

I've been a member of the record buying public for 30 years. This woman's been putting out records since before I was born and I never heard of her until a few weeks ago. Not one mention from anybody. Nary a one! Talk about a well kept secret. Now that the secret is out, y'all go and check out some of Renee's stuff. I suggest you start with her early 1970s stuff and work your way up from there.
