Was this one of the few songs Marvin sang lead on?

I remember this track. Didn't know they had a video for it.

I always thought Chris sung lead on this. Cool song and video.

Chris sounds a little like Michael McDonald on the hook don't he? hehe

Widow of Marvin Isley calls him 'great family man'

CHICAGO — The widow of Isley Brothers' bassist Marvin Isley says her husband was a "great family man" who always acted like she had the more high-profile job as a United Airlines flight attendant.

Marvin Isley died Sunday of diabetes at an inpatient hospice in Chicago at age 56.

Sheila Isley said Tuesday that she met her husband on a plane 20 years ago and she immediately told her co-workers she would marry him. She was right.

Marvin Isley stopped performing in 1996 after his diabetes caused him to have a stroke. He lost the use of his left hand and doctors had to amputate his legs.

He joined his brothers' band in 1973 after the band had scored hits like 1959's "Shout."

I know there was mad beef between Marvin's wife and Ronald. I think i still have that Sister 2 Sister magazine from several years ago.

Do u remember what they beefed about?

For sure. According to Ronnie, the brothers always felt like she married Marvin for money

and turned Marvin against him. He also stated she insisted that Marvin should recieve O'Kelly's

royalties from the Masterpiece album and such. Ronald took matters into his own hands as far

as royalties the group received to keep her from getting access to it. He stated that he gave

Marvin money but he didn't want Marvin's wife to have any part of it. I'm pretty sure that

caused friction between the brothers.
