thoughts from UK

Looking for some thoughts and opionions from my UK brothers and sisters. I recently caught an episode of show that they have here in the US, maybe UK as well since it is from there, called Live From Abbey Road and the artist Mika was on there. I have heard a few of his songs and he seems to be quite good. Is he pretty big in the UK and what is the likelihood that a long time Prince fan would like his stuff? Again, just curious to hear thoughts about him. Thanks for your insight.

Mika's debut did extremly well here in the uk, however his follow up album suffered from the ol' sophmore jinx!!

I cant really comment on his catalogue as only familiar with a couple of his songs, which were catchy but not funky or soulful enough for me.

Life has a way of making you live it. . . .

He's going so far down that the press are starting to suggest lining him up for the Eurovision Song Contest next year.

I didn't see him on Abby Road, althouygh we do have it here in the UK. I have both of his albums, although his first 'Life in Cartoon Motion' Is a far better album.
A couple of years back when he was promoting this album he was really big in the UK. He hasn't had anywhere near the same level of success with his follow-up ' the boy who knew too much', although it's not a terrible album by any means.

I find that when i listen to him i need to take a break, he's a bit too much for me to
