There was no 'WOW!' factor to Aaliyah's dancing and she was hardly a natural. Her moves weren't percise nor were they difficult to grasp. They were a bit slow and dare I say- sloppy. Just my observation. She's not even well known for her dancing. IMO, it's silly to even compare her to Janet. Someone who recieved no form of training for dancing and who has the natural ability to glide through moves as if she does it in her sleep! Someone who was also innovative in creating new dance moves and popularizing a few. and lets not forget Janet influenced a whole generation (Aaliyah included!) Girls who perform @ pep rallies learn choreography, and most of them dont even take dance classes. But it doesnt change the fact that Janet cant do SHIT without a choreographer. Throw the bitch on stage with a beat and a mic she wouldnt know what to do.
