Natalie Cole "Stand By" 1979

Hey every-1. I'm a huge Old School Natalie Cole fan and wonderin' what anybody thinks of this first single from her "I Love You So" CD. Peaceout. xo

I remember actually sitting through her NBC TV movie (one of the last network TV movies that I can think of). At one point she talks about making a disco album (and then of course, snorts some coke!). Was this it?

I believe so! I know in her 2000 autobiography she mentions a similar situation where she would spend many recording sessions just getting high without recording anything. She also dismissed the disco era in her autobiography.
