The Idol performance has been added to my list of faves. I also LOVE her Lately performance on the '87 Grammys, Control on the '87 AMAs, Together Again from the AMAs, What About at the VH1 Fashion Awds., Straw. Bounce on SNL, All Nite on GMA and Ryan Seacrest, Lonely on Rosie, Got Til It's Gone on Top of the Pops

I always remembered this performance, was far more theatrical that what I'd seen Janet do before. The Velvet Rope is my favourite Janet era, great look, great videos. Lost interest after 'All For You.'

yeah I was confused about oprah or ellen too cause at one point, I stopped being OCD about janet

and yeah velvet rope was an AWESOME era, that cd was my teen angst album
