Ok, this was NOT a hit single (or even a single), but the sax solo is hot in this! Listen to the drum (machine) breakdown at the end too!

Elvis' cover of "Reconsider Baby" while not a single hit is a classic album but with a scorching sax solo by Boots Randolph. I don't know how to imbed the video but here is a link:

The "Foreign Affair" album was very popular in the UK so this counts as a HIT.

I doubt if most of those fantastic singles were hits in the US but they were hits just about everywhere else

Wow, some GREAT songs on this thread!

I saw Foreigner last month, and the guy just KILLED IT on the "Urgent" sax solo. I never really liked that song at all until I saw it done live. Now, I love it.

This was a "single" as defined by rock radio, and it's always ranked as one of the greatest rock songs of all time, so I guess that makes it a hit. And anyway, it's my favorite sax solo of all time, so here's to ya, Big Man! Clarence's solo starts at 3:53.

When I was in hawaii outside laying in the sun with my sister, we started singing/beatboxing this song:

I didn't really realize when we started that we knew the entire sax solo part too lol
