Taylor will kick off the festivities at 8:00 a.m. that day, and will meet as many fans as possible over the course of the 13-hour event. The event will include a short acoustic performance that afternoon shortly after 2 p.m., and will also feature several different fan activities throughout the day. “Taylor Swift’s 13-Hour Meet & Greet” is open to the general public and admission is free!

This is part of the CMA Music Festival, which I am positive is the greatest event in music history.

More bands, more meet-and-greets, more EVERYTHING than anything I've ever heard of.

And they do this EVERY SINGLE YEAR!

I know! Can you believe all the big-time artists that are playing over four days? And the private fan club performances they're giving on top of THAT? And the fact that they all make themselves available during the day to meet fans and take pictures with them?

How could anyone squeeze all that into one week?

I remember hearing about this festival many years ago, when Garth Brooks was king of the world. And he was as excited as anyone about sitting under a tent for four hours, meeting fans and signing autographs.

Say what you will about country music, their artists treat the fans like no other.

I will add that the only non-country artist I can think of that's ever done anything remotely close to a CMA Music Festival is Prince's 2002 Celebration. But he did it once, and the country artists do it every single year.
